The group party pictures above are all El Modena High School Alumni shots from different get-togethers I've coordinated.  Can you believe that high school in Orange, Ca. had nine of us end up lliving in Hawaii! 

 

The 12 people on the roof is a jury.  They elected me foreman and it was highly publicized making the news nightly.  We indicted the ex-Speaker of the House of Rep for 21 counts of illegal use of campaign funds, money laundering, obstruction of justice, mail fraud etc.  It was a hard time as he was 65 yrs old and in bad health.  

I couldn't believe i was the oldest person on the jury and so many girls.  There was another jury that shared our lounge.  What a contrast.  They were deliberating on a man who was stalking his ex wife and followed her from the Mainland to Kauai building an alter to her with her pictures etc.  The jury was almost all older men than me.  The defending atty. was a voluptuous woman that wore real tight tops!!!!

 

Anyway we were accused of making the deliberations last longer cuz we enjoyed the free food etc.  They wouldn't let us leave our deliberation chamber to smoke cigs although there was a door with an alarm going to the roof.  I had one of us open the door to see if the alarm would go off.  We finally realized it was not hooked up.  so i let us have breaks running around on the Federal courthouse roof!  This was the picture we took up there.  

Also in anticipation of our final decision with respect to the Speaker of the House and knowing I would be interviewed on TV, I fasted the last eight days of the deliberation.  I looked thin on TV!
