1969 F-250 Camper Special with Ranger Package

This truck belongs to Nancy and Richard Corsello of Elmhurst ILL. Richard purchased the truck in 1995 from the second owner in Wisconsin. The truck was from California and was baseically a mint original with only 59,000 miles on it. The truck is loaded and the interior is as nice as the outside.

This trucks belongs to Tom and Debra Fay from Waterbury , Conn. Tom is the proud owner of a 1969 F-250 Camper Special and a 1942 Ford Script Jeep. The Camper Special was his dad's. Tom was given this truck as a graduation present in 1976. This truck has been as far as Alaska and has hauled everthing from wood to cow manure. It was always the workhorse of the family. The 1942 Ford Script Jeep has a 390 cid. engine, 4 barrel carb, 4 speed trans and power sterring and power brakes. Congratulations, Tom.

F-250 PICKUP

F-250 PICKUP: The F-250 Pickup had most of the same features as the, F-100) Plus, it came with Flex-O-Matic rear suspension The Styleside had double-wall side panels and tailgate: flat-top wheelhouseings: stake pockets. and an all-steel floor. A single center latch mechanism opened the tailgate Steel support straps held the tailgate in open position. The Flareside had Runningboards between the cab and rear fenders. It came with seasoned hardwood floorboards and with steel skid strips to help side cargo into place Rubber-covered forged-steel chains supported the tailgate when open. Toggle-type latches maintained a tight seal when the tailgate was closed. Heavy gauge steel side panels with flared sides had rolled edges for extra strength and rigidity. F-25O Platform/Stake: Floor frames of the F-250 Platform/stake were made of steel cross sills riveted to steel siderails. Floorboards were interlocked with steel skid strips and corners were reinforced with steel brackets. Formed steel caps over the ends of the body sills acted as bumpers for loading docks. sideboards and stakes were straight-grained hardwood.

F-350 PICKUP: F-350 buyers had to settle for the Flarside cargo box. It had a cargo capacity of 74 cu.ft. That was almost 10 cu. ft.,more than the comparable F-250 Flare.side Plus it could haul heavier payloads. A four-speed manual transmission was standard.
